another day in the life of...

CHARLIE! He is OBSESSED with his TV. So much in fact that I googled last night if too much TV was bad for dog's eyes! Friday morning, I had to turn the TV OFF to get him to go outside and do his business! As soon as I open the door in the morning, he RUNS into his room and stares at his TV! Not only is Charlie on a new diet but I may have to limit his TV time :) !!

In our new house, I devoted a room to Charlie. I like to call it his "man cave!" Well, he hasn't had a tv but often I would find him sleeping on the couch in that room so while my parents were here this week, we got a new TV for my bedroom and let Charlie have my old one - I think he likes it!

charlie's boy weekend...

I don't know who had more fun this past weekend - Charlie or his new best friend Jon?! Saturday I made a day trip to the races in Hot Springs with some girlfriends so Charlie spent the day and night with Jon in Memphis. I wasn't quite sure Jon was going to bring him back to me on Sunday :) Here is a recap.

TV star..

Charlie is a TV STAR!! I sent the picture from the last post to my friend Sarah who works at KNWA and she sent it to the news anchor. I didn't know or didn't think that they would show it but I had on the news last night and at the end they showed the picture of him and their new fan...CHARLIE! I was able to grab the remote and rewind so Charlie could see himself. I think he knew it was him :) I paused it and he stared at the TV and even stood up on his back legs and tried to paw the tv. It was HILARIOUS!!

critter corner...

Our local news station has a segment on the 9:00 news called "Critter Corner." They always have a couple of CATS that are up for adoption. Well, last night Charlie caught this on the news and was GLUED to the tv. After it was over, I turned off the tv and told Charlie it was time to go to bed so I went into my room, turned on the tv and got ready for bed. Any other night, Charlie would jump in the bed. Well, last night when I came back in the bedroom Charlie was no where to be found. I walked in the living room and Charlie was sitting in front of the tv just staring - it was OFF! I guess he was looking for those cats. Silly boy CHARLIE! I have a good friend that works at KNWA so I sent her this picture this morning and told her that Brad Reed (the anchor) has a new fan!
